PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
I have ongoing and past experience working directly in the community at the Department of Social Services in Child Welfare and with a local school district. In Child Welfare, I work with family groups ranging from infants to teenagers, parents, social systems, and court systems. At the school district, I have worked as a School Social Worker with students of a variety of backgrounds and issues from ages 4 to 18 years of age, as well as families and staff, promoting mental health and well-being in the school.
PHILOSOPHY AND TREATMENT:
My primary goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where my client can comfortably share their experiences and emotions. I strive to implement a non-process they will discover their own solutions. Through our sessions, I aim to equip my client with the coping mechanisms and skills needed to thrive in various aspects of their day-to-day life. I encourage and support my client and guide the therapeutic process without interrupting of interfering with my client’s process of self-discovery.
