  • PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

I have worked in the mental health field since 2010 and have provided therapy services to individuals of all ages. I specialize working with the preteen and adolescent age group and the difficulties that go along with this transitional period. I also have experience providing crisis services to individuals across the lifespan. I have worked with clients who have struggled with depression, anxiety, and anger issues.

    Clinical Experience

I am trained in both cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic approaches to therapy. I also have a firm foundation in humanistic psychology that examines the person as a whole. My approach is to build a trusting collaboration with my clients where they feel free and comfortable to discuss their emotions openly. I like to help facilitate exploration of all aspects that make up my client’s point of view. Things such as family and personal relationships, feelings towards work or school, spirituality, past and present experiences as well as future goals might be discussed. My belief is that once we understand all aspects of ourselves then we will be free to live life with more congruence and authenticity. .
