  • PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

    I have 20 years of experience working as a School Counselor with a School District. I worked with students ranging in ages 4-17 as well as working with families and staff. I provided counseling in the areas of: Conflict Management, Crisis Intervention, Anger Management, Self Esteem, Grief, and Friendship Skills. I provided both large and small group social skills lessons, including such topics as Bullying. I also developed Behavior Support Plans for students struggling with behavioral issues. I have a passion for working with children and teens, however, I enjoy working with clients of all ages.


    PHILOSOPHY AND METHODS OF TREATMENT:

    I am committed to assisting each individual client build on their existing strengths to live their best possible life. I believe in building a positive therapeutic relation-ship, in a safe, open and non-judgmental atmosphere. I will be utilizing treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, individualized to each client’s specific needs. I am passionate about helping clients foster self-awareness and gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I look forward to supporting you on your personal journey.
