THERAPY GROUPS – Many issues are better managed in group therapy. If very personal or embarrassing issues exist individuals often prefer to meet with the therapist individually until they are ready to learn or work on an issue in a group. Group treatment can be extremely helpful however as many see that they are not alone in their beliefs or issues. They can learn from others as well as the therapist what different perspectives are and how to heal from the problem that is causing the problem. Individuals usually will see a therapist initially to ensure that they are ready for group treatment.
